2024 Silent Retreat

A Moment of Stillness: 3-Day Silent Retreat

DATES: Sunday, Nov 10th at 6p - Wednesday, Nov 13th at 9A (option to leave Tue PM)

Join Marina for an immersive journey of silence, sound, and deep reflection nestled in the serene beauty of Hocking Hills State Park.

We'll toast our first evening with a celebratory + nourishing dinner followed by an introduction to the weekend’s flow. We’ll then transition into silence.

This off-the-grid retreat will allow you to experience simplicity, curiosity, and spaciousness, creating room for whatever needs healing, rejuvenating, or clearing in your life.

Throughout the weekend, I’ll guide you through practices such as yoga, movement, sound healing, Morning Maintenance Meditation, and plant magic explorations.

All meals will be intentionally + lovingly prepared by me, using seasonal, nourishing ingredients to support your body and soul throughout the retreat.

*you are welcome to stay until Wednesday AM; however, the retreat will close Tuesday PM and retreatants may leave after if needed.

Most humans would rather feel negative emotion than no emotion.

This is because when you are emotionally heightened, it feels like you’re getting stuff ‘done’...

For most, it feels more powerful to feel something than nothing.

However, that is where your power lies, in strengthening the spaces in between.

  • 1. What if I need to communicate with you during the retreat?
You can always break silence if there’s something urgent. Otherwise, you can write down any questions or thoughts and place them in the reflections box, which will be available to all participants throughout the retreat.

    2. What should I do with my phone?
I won’t be monitoring your phone use—this is your time to disconnect. Phones will remain in your possession, but you are encouraged to turn them off or put them on airplane mode for the weekend to fully immerse yourself in the retreat.

    3. What if I have specific food or dietary needs?
No problem at all! I’ll work closely with you to ensure your dietary needs are fully met.

    4. What should I pack for the retreat?
Comfortable clothing for movement and meditation, a journal for reflection, a water bottle, and any personal items that help you feel grounded. The retreat will provide linens, towels, and basic amenities.

    5. Is this retreat suitable for beginners to meditation or yoga?
Absolutely! This retreat is designed to be accessible for everyone, regardless of experience. All practices are optional, and I will provide guidance to support all levels.

    6. Why would some people leave Tuesday PM versus Wednesday AM?
We will break silence and re-integrate Tuesday PM; and from there we will enjoy our time together reflecting, sharing, and relaxing. If your schedule requires you to be home Tuesday PM, you are welcome to leave then.

    7. What if I’ve never done a silent retreat before?
That’s completely okay! Silent retreats can be a powerful experience for newcomers. You’ll be guided through the process, and we’ll create a supportive environment to help you ease into silence.
